This is where Harris steps in. With his calm disposition and hardworking nature, Harris is the perfect fit to ensure all logistics are handled and operations run without hiccups. With the team in his capable hands, all funerals will go off without a hitch and exceed your expectations.

His approach to problem-solving has helped him to develop groundbreaking solutions that have benefited both his team and himself. When the pressure is on, most people tend to focus narrowly on the task at hand, losing sight of the larger goal. But not him. He has an innate ability to see the big picture, even in the midst of a crisis. However, the pressure to meet expectations can be intense. But Harris has never shy away from responsibility. In fact, he thrives under pressure. This is due, in part, to his self-efficacy and his abilities. It’s this combination of commitment and self-efficacy that makes Harris an invaluable member of the team.

Hailing from Jilin, China, known for its mountainous landscape, Singapore was a completely new challenge for Ming Yuan that went beyond cultural and language gaps. Attracted to the more liberal nature of the industry, Ming Yuan was connected to Serenity. Now, as one of the longest serving staff, his experience with handling the operational side of things has enabled him to smoothly lead countless funerals.

Yuan now leads his team and is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and productivity. He takes a data-informed approach to decision making, which ensures that all options are considered before a course of action is recommended. His team has benefited greatly from his leadership, as they are often able to achieve results that exceed expectations. He is always looking for ways to streamline processes and make things run more smoothly. His team members appreciate his dedication to excellence and know that they can always count on him to help them reach their goal.

One of the longest serving members, Vincent has been part of the team since Serenity was first established over ten years ago.

As one of the longest serving members of the team, Vincent has seen Serenity grow from small to a thriving business. He’s been there through the ups and downs, and he knows the company inside and out. He’s always willing to lend a helping hand, and his knowledge is second to none.

With a decade under his belt, his years of experience has been utilised to make and execute decisions under time-pressing conditions, which have created beautiful funerals.
You can rest assured with him on our team, assisting with the set-up as well as transportation of the casket to-and-fro.

Justine graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009. She worked in the Philippines for three years before making the bold decision to cross the seas and come to Singapore. It has been five years since, with her ultimately ending up in Serenity in January 2020. A change which she dubbed as the answer to her ‘prayer’.

Besides learning the ins and outs of embalming, Justine also handles operations and liaises with the Pastors with a warm smile. She is always warm and friendly, and her smile is known to put grieving families at ease. Justine truly cares about her work and the families she serves. It is her mission to help them through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Teck Soon believes in conducting each funeral as if we were sending off our own loved ones. He always understands the value of every moment.

He is not just concerned with making sure that your loved ones arrive at their final destination safe and sound, but also during the transportation as well as in transiting loved ones from one location to another. He wants nothing short of perfection for each individual situation.

His cheerful disposition is also contagious, which makes him a popular colleague and team-mate. While his natural talent has come in handy on more than one occasion, this allows him to secure a favourable outcome for him and his fellow colleagues which looks on the bright side of things and this outlook has helped him through some tough situations. We all know that we can count on him to see the silver lining in any situation.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Macky has the distinction of being our qualified embalmer. It’s a job that requires both technical skills and a compassionate heart, and Macky has both in spades. He shows deep love for his work as his perfectionism runs high here so families can have peace-of-mind knowing that their loved one will be treated with care and respect. He was gentle, patient as they asked him questions and shared their memories, and made sure that everything was taken care of so that the bereaved could focus on healing.

With a background in embalming, he is an asset to our family. Macky has infinite patience; he often guides our fellow trainees on modern embalming.

Stereotypes abound in our society, and the funeral industry is certainly no exception. Jer Shenq never thought he would end up working in the death care industry. But life has a way of leading him down unexpected paths. For Jer Shenq, he knows that his work has purpose, and he feels incredibly lucky to have found a career that allows him to make such a difference in the lives of others.

In his line of work, Jer Shenq sees all kinds of people from all walks of life. The one commonality they all share is that they are going through one of the most difficult experiences imaginable. While there are certainly many stereotypes surrounding the funeral industry, he may not have planned on it, but he has found his calling in helping others to say goodbye to their loved ones.

Jessy has always been motivated by her desire to help others. While it might seem like a morbid profession to some, She finds great comfort in helping people to say goodbye to their loved ones in a respectful and dignified manner.

While being responsible for coordinating funerals and providing support to grieving families. She looks forward to seeing the difference she makes in the lives of those she serves. Seeing the difference she makes in the lives of others is one of the things that motivates her peers to continue working in this field. For her, there is nothing more rewarding than knowing that she has helped to bring closure during such a difficult time.

Wang Wang has been with Serenity since the beginning. Cuddly and friendly, the Jack Russell Terrier hunter is a joy to have around in the office but also a menace to strangers; helping in creating a safe, wholesome environment for Serenity’s team. Hence, Wang Wang not only is in charge of the office security but doubles as the company mascot, and he does his job valiantly. He may be small, but his appetite is bigger than his bark. He can occasionally be spotted near our office hanging out with his furfriends.

Wang Wang crossed the rainbow bridge on 20th July 2021, he will always be fondly remembered for his role as Office Security. We take comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with his sister GouGou, whom he missed dearly.

GouGou is dedicated to safeguarding our premises. Not only is GouGou our guard dog, but her curious nature is also part of what makes her such a lovable and loyal companion. This curious nature helps her to investigate anything new or unusual in the environment to avoid potential dangers, such as strangers or unfamiliar pesky rodents.
She is always keeping an eye on her Brother Wang Wang who often gets into mischief, as she is known for her territorial and protective nature. Her sisterly love is fierce, and she becomes anxious when he is not within her sight. It is clear that the two have a strong bond and that GouGou crossed the rainbow bridge on December 2016, after a long and valiant battle with illness. She is now watching over her brother, who she always loved and waited for.

Peng Li is the epitome of our company philosophy, ‘be there for your team.’ He is always looking for ways to make things better and he never hesitates to go the extra mile to lend a helping hand to his fellow comrades.

It is because of his initiative, that we are able to maintain a high level of quality service. His hard work is appreciated and always leaves a positive impression. He also takes on the important task of managing our team’s day-to-day operations.

His attention towards detail made sure everything around him left nothing but our equipment in pristine condition. He took great care over what might be considered small things by others but which are often overlooked. He is responsible for ensuring that everything from start-to-finish goes off without a hitch.
